My incredible Sister
All of us sibs have been raised with an almost maniacal work ethics. I want to give a special shout out to my next sister right after me
She is a true phenomenal woman.
And her before performing at the White House
She runs her own dance company, (the only one of us kids to start her own business), manages and teaches in a dance studio, performs at places like Kennedy Center, gives individualized personal fitness traing (I'd proberly last one week) and is successful ias a single mom to 3 children (dad drifts in an out of the picture). This is one my favorite pics of her performing.

Renewing our Vows
So the hubby and I are facing some pretty steep challenges and I suggested renewing our vows. Just to remind ourselves and others that our love for each other can weather any storm. We had planned to do it on our 10th wedding anniversary then our 15th and now somehow time has slipped away from us. It will of course be Egyptian themed and here are some things I found on line. Unfortunately, I don't think any of these are for sale in the state of Georgia.
I did find this adorable Temperley London dress, but it's a 2013 dress. Probably expensive as heck, but maybe not

Celebrating you, Marilyn! Rest in Peace
This week would have been the birthday of one the first in a long line of man-made icons. Sometimes I think she was the first in the line that leads to the Kim Kardashians of today. Some tell me that she was different. That she was special. What ever we each think of her, we have to admit that she is now a part of Americana. Just like Kim Khardasian.

Iconic Movie Costumes
The fashion institute of Costume Design has declared that the white halter dress worn by Marylin Monroe in the movie "The Seven Year Itch" is the most iconic costume from a movie.
