Created by DSquared 2 in several styles and colors, they are named the "Skate Moss"!!!!!

I am dying to see if I can actually skate in them!!  And for a mere 2K, I can find out!!!

Christmas is coming

Not sure I am ready for the holiday season this year.  It has never been my favorite time of year, but it was a time I could be together with my precious family.  My sister from DC with my nieces and nephew, my brother from Sactown and my parents and sister right here would all be together, eating, drinking, laughing, dancing, singing...

My brother died in June and I feel like a body part has been removed from me without permission. Even worse, there was nothing wrong with that body part; someone amputated t by mistake.  And nothing will ever be the same again. 

I know I should accept Gods will, but I can't.  I know should be glad that I still have my parents and my sisters, but all I can think of is that I want my brother back!  I know this is the season to me jolly.  But I'm not...

Future Fashion

So, the question was put to me.   What will fashion look like 50-100 years into the future?  I really started thinking about this.  Hard!!!  Truth is, we haven't done that well at imagining future fashion.  We tend to imagine it in relation to the way things are today.  I saw a 1950s picture of a design imagined for car hops of the 21st century.  It never occurred to folks that there would not be car hops in the 21st century!!!

There are some designers that may be getting it right though.  One of them is Lie Sang Bong, a Korean designer that uses sustainable fabrics that block UV rays or have some other functionality such as water storage, 

Then there are those who are trying to prepare us for climate change

Or space travel

Not sure why I have the cat in there!!!

Enchanted Dolls

I literal stumblec across an amazing artist nam         I fell in love!!    .Her dolls have an ethereal delicacy with touches as well as toughes of innocence. She has enen included dolls of color and a female transgender doll.

Her pieces sell from between 5.000 and 12, 090, but enen if you don't plan to be a collect her at least look at the.  Funny story... eBay made her take one of her nude dolls because is was " too provocative!  Never the fool went for a prove well onto the 10s of thousand!!

sThe off the shoulder dress and tops are the latest addition to the nouveau-boho or foho craze.  While they have an increased chance of a wardrobe malfunction  in these elastisized tops and dresses (especially the long ones), it's totally worth it.
